at the beautiful and magic island Bornholm, Denmark.
DESCRIPTION:
Trance Dance, Sufi and Whirling is a
workshop for celebration of the flow and the rhythm, from dark
night to the sun of the bright day.
The dance unified the body and mind and makes it possible to share
a universal energy beyond the personal and individual, by visualization
and enjoining the spirals and spinning in the circle together,
from our feet touching the earth, through the awaked spine to the
very top of the head, which carry the sky.
The workshop presents releasing technique of
the physically and mentally, and bring focus at the breath, the
spine and the life centre, so we can allow a new balance and freedom
in movements.
Ancient and old ritual dance methods are presented. Connection
through the ritual moving is still actual and interesting on cross
time and cultures, as it connect human to nature and body to spirit.
We will create our own dance, begin carefully at the mats in pair,
helping each other to be aware and relax in the whole body, feel
the breath, the spine, stomach and feet. We give away tension and
explore the space inside and outside the body and the space between
the partners, the different energy and rhythms of skeleton, muscles
and blood. We explore the grounding and gravity and continue a
play with movements flow in a small and a big open space. We end
the workshop with a longer guided together dancing circle in the
beautiful huge studio with open view over the landscape and of
course to wonderful music from the world.
The workshop has no demands of dance experience etc. Every one
with good health can easily attend. Bring 2 pair of training close
(loose and nice feeling), 2 pairs of cotton socks and some warm
close too.
Sightseeing tour:
The participators who attend all 4 days, will have the possibilities
of a half days tour Friday 10- 15 o’clock , to the great
ice landscape of the island Bornholm, where we visit some of
the old mother stones, where we can find incredible marks of
dancing feet and sun whirl from the Viking age.

sun dances. For the first the modern dance stage get presented to

since taught this unique way of movements in open workshops, where
